"What Will You Do With That?" Gender/Sexuality Studies and a Career in Public Health
Thursday, April 20, 2023
An interactive discussion for Brown students featuring Madina Agénor, Assistant Professor of Behavioral and Social Sciences, and Sarah Gamble, Visiting Professor of the Practice of Gender Studies. “What Will You Do With That? Gender/Sexuality Studies and a Career in Public Health” will explore the intersections of these two fields and what gender and sexuality studies brings to public health practice and research.
This event is for Brown University students interested in concentrating in gender and sexuality studies, public health, or a related field, and students interested in the intersection generally. Lunch will be included. RSVP required.
In November 2022, the Collaborative co-sponsored the Womxn in Public Health networking lunch at the School of Public Health with the SPH Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Sarah Doyle Center for Women and Gender.
