Researchers are welcome to visit one of the special collections reading rooms at Brown University to use our collections in person.

Research Visit

Researchers who are interested in using Pembroke Center Archives special collections for one week or longer are welcome to visit the Pembroke Center Reading Room at Brown University. 

Pembroke Center Archives special collections include the Feminist Theory Archive collections, the Feminist Activism in Rhode Island collections, and the Women and Gender at Brown collections.  

Complete this form to schedule a time for your visit and request the materials you would like to use at the Pembroke Center Archives. 

For visits shorter than one week, please complete these steps to access the materials at the John Hay Library.

Funding Opportunities

Researchers are invited to apply for a grant through the New England Regional Fellowship Consortium (NERFC). Awards are open to U.S. citizens and foreign nationals who hold the necessary U.S. government documents. Grants are designed to encourage projects that draw on the resources of several participating institutions, including the Pembroke Center Archives and Brown University Library.
