Wendy C. Wilcox ’88, P’23
Biography
Wendy Wilcox, ’88, P’23 is an obstetrician gynecologist and fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is the Chief Women’s Health Officer for New York City Health + Hospitals, the largest public health system in the United States. Wilcox has been a long-time advocate for women’s health and continues to lead efforts to improve health equity. She earned her MD from State University of New York Upstate Medical Center, an MPH from Columbia University and MBA from Wagner College. She is an Affiliate Medical Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Medicine at City University of New York School of Medicine. Wilcox was Co-Chair of the New York State Task Force on Maternal Mortality and Disparate Racial Outcomes; Co-Chair of the Maternal Health Task Force, Office of the Brooklyn Borough President; Board member America’s Essential Hospitals Institute; Former Trustee St. Paul’s School, Concord, NH; Member NYS Maternal Mortality Review Board, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists District II Advisory Committee and a former member of the NYC Maternal Mortality Review Committee.
Dr. Wilcox earned an A.B. in biomedical ethics from Brown University.
