Sophie Waskow Rifkin has worked in the corporate sustainability field for 18 years. She recently served as the Senior Director of Sustainability at the food company Banza. Previously, she was Director of Corporate Research and Engagement at the Center for Sustainable Business at NYU Stern, where she oversaw their Return on Sustainability Investment methodology research partnerships with companies. Sophie is also an adjunct professor at NYU Stern, teaching coursework in sustainability strategy. She is on the Board of Directors of Fairtrade America and the Alumnae Board of The Brearley School.

Rifkin earned an A.B. in English from Brown University and an MPA from George Washington University.
