Mary Vascellaro ’74, P’07

Biography

Mary E. Vascellaro serves as a community volunteer in education, civic engagement, and the arts. She was the founding chair and is a current board member of Generation Citizen, a non-profit civics education program for young people. Earlier in her career, Mary held a variety of retail management positions with Lord & Taylor, and she was the youngest woman to become a managing director of a Lord & Taylor branch store. She began her career at Filene’s department store. She is a board member of Teach for America Bay Area and Curving Road, and a former board member of the Felice Lesser Dance Theater.

Vascellaro earned an A.B. in psychology from Brown University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
