Anne Jones Mills ’60

Biography

Anne Mills serves as a consultant for the Aquila Municipal Trust Board, after retiring as a trustee from Aquila Group of Funds in 2014. Anne was formerly the president of Loring Consulting Company, which dissolved in 2004. Prior to Loring, she worked at IBM for 25 years in marketing and sales, finance and planning, and business process management functions; she was also the vice president for business affairs at Ottawa University for 11 years, where she serves as a life trustee. Anne is founding chair and serves on the Investment Committee of the American Baptist Foundation. She is also Director of the Wind Crest Board, a non-profit corporation overseeing the thousand-unit senior living facility at Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and serves on the National Senior Campuses Investment and Treasury Advisory Committee. 

Mills earned an A.B. in mathematics and physics from Brown University and a master’s degree in educational counseling from Stanford University.
